I’m a husband, dad, pastor, musician, comedian, contractor, creative, and a few other things. From time to time I write on about this or that topic, and I’ve assembled some of my favorite writings here. Many of these posts were written in response to something on social media. Some were Bible studies. Others were parts of sermons. Some were just my mind spilling out onto the virtual paper.

Andrew Soerens is passionate about raising up and equipping leaders. He has served churches for over 25 years, preaching, teaching, worshiping, and leading. He is a graduate of North Central University with a degree in Pastoral Studies. He and his wife Ellen live in Central Texas where they have raised three wonderful children. His oldest, Lucy, is a professional photographer, piano teacher, and pastor’s wife living in Texas. Garret is studying Music Production at the University of Valley Forge. Denise is a Junior in high school and active in her church youth group and worship teams.
